USCIS EXTENDS OFFICE CLOSURES DUE TO CORONAVIRUS
On March 18, 2020 USCIS temporarily suspended all routine face-to-face services with
applicants at all USCIS offices, including all interviews and naturalization ceremonies. The
temporary suspension is extended, and USCIS offices will re-open on April 7 unless the public
closures are extended further.
This includes interviews, naturalization ceremonies and biometric collection appointments.
USCIS field offices will send de-scheduling notices to applicants and petitioners with scheduled
appointments impacted by the public closure. USCIS will reschedule all applicants when normal
operations resume.
